No More Doomsday

Getting A Hold Of Myself

To voice my fears today, I wrote a poem
And filled it with doom and gloom
My need to fulfil an emptiness
And as my words absorbed the bleak
My mind leapfrogged my fingers
Leaving me still/worried and weak —
The sun is shining and so I will
Leave the darkness and explore the light
A visit to my river, forever flowing
Will fill me with the positive feeling I need
To tank up on hope and…
