Close Encounter with a Wake of Black Vultures

Beautiful, in their own way

It was an unpleasant surprise. I went looking for white egrets, or maybe a baby alligator but found a wake of black vultures. It wasn’t hard to find them; the scent of a dead alligator nearby led me to them.
