Donald Trump Demonstrating World Leadership
The U.S. President lectures the world on the immigration and tells them they are going to hell
President Trump’s day at the United Nations started with an escalator abruptly stopping shortly after he and FLOTUS stepped onto it. Trump had to climb the stairs and, unfortunately, eventually made it to the General Assembly where he delivered a remarkably arrogant and troubling address. The U.S. and the rest of the world would have been better off had Trump been unable to deliver the address.
Trump rambling address, much of it delivered without use of a teleprompter, could be mistaken for the rantings of a mad man. Topics included multiple boasts about everything Trump has accomplished domestically and internationally as well as “advice” to the rest of the world on immigration.
Trump also shared that when the U.N. rennovated its campus decades ago, Trump, then a real estate developer, bid on the work but lost. He told the General Assembly that they would be walking on marble floors rather than terracotta had he won the bid.
He also insulted President Biden, repeatedly. Remember when partisan politics ended at the U.S. border? That is no longer…
