The crash site of Madison Cawthorn’s congressional career has not yet been cleared. After being rejected by Republicans for renomination for a second term in Congress, he has not resigned. Instead, he’s back in Washington and continuing the behavior that helped end his career. From any number of perspectives, that’s unfortunate.
