Hypocrisy is Alive and Well and Living in America!
Maria Grant looks at the rhetoric of some of Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters, including JD Vance
Decent Americans are grateful that the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump on July 13th failed. Just before that horrendous event, Maria Grant, my friend who writes for the Spy Community Newspapers on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, wrote a piece looking at some of Trump’s allies.
After the world learned that Trump survived the shooting, The Spy decided to go ahead and publish Grant’s piece even though many of us are still recovering from the shock of a gunman trying to kill Trump. Because what Grant writes remains important, I am republishing her column here.

Call me crazy, but I don’t get why people who say incredibly damning things about a candidate then turn around and support him. Not only support him but campaign to be his vice president. Here are some comments from Trump’s current VP contenders.
