Looking Forward to Kamala at the September Debate
A preview of her closing argument
Kamala Harris has not yet been formally designated as the Democrats’ nominee for president, but we are already nearing what may be Trump’s Waterloo in the election: The final presidential debate, now scheduled for September 10, hosted by ABC.
Trump may yet worm his way out of the debate, possibly by suggesting that the debate format he agreed to with President Biden no longer applies and that Harris has refused to agree to various changes in format that he demands. Among other things, Trump may demand that Fox News moderate the debate, that the microphones be left on when the opposing candidate is speaking, and that he be assigned the final closing argument.
Last night I dreamed that the debate took place and got a preview of what Kamala might say to America in her closing comments:
