The Dumbing Down of America — It’s a Major Brain Drain
Maria Grant’s editorial on America’s anti-intellectual bias
My colleague at Spy Community Media’s newspapers, which are published on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland, has written about the anti-intellectual bias in the U.S. As might be expected from anyone familiar with Maria’s work, she is concerned about President Trump’s attacks on Harvard and other institutions of higher education, cuts in research grants and the NIH, as well as other questionable actions and appointments of the Trump administration.
President Trump’s aggressive attacks on Harvard were something I never expected. Harvard is a national treasure. (I did not attend school there and would not have been accepted had I applied.)
