Is the president working to beat the record 30,573 lies told during his first term?

Call me a masochist, but I visit Truth Social frequently to hear what’s on the president’s mind. For a while, it was the best place to see who was getting what job in the new administration. More recently, Trump’s posts are to congratulate himself for his accomplishments or brilliance, blame Biden and Republicans for inflation or anything else bad that is happening, or to float new ideas — things like Canada becoming the 51st state.

To be honest, many of the posts are boring. Trump, for example, decried the injustice of former baseball player Pete Rose not being in baseball’s hall of fame because of his gambling.

This morning, Trump’s first three posts surprised me.

Let me respond to the president:

You do not know that “paid ‘troublemakers’ are attending Republican Town Hall Meetings.” I haven’t seen any evidence of this. We have read, however, that many of the attendees at your rallies were paid to attend. Is that true? Can you prove it?
