This morning’s New York Times reports President Biden is gaining on Donald Trump in a new NYT-Sienna College poll. The poll shows the two candidates virtually tied, with Trump enjoying a one-percent edge at 47–46. The poll shows Biden regaining Democratic votes, a welcome trend.

Will Biden continue to gain in the polls? Let’s hope so, but voters must learn Trump’s Five Lessons for that to happen. I outlined them in a Medium article in September 2022. After rereading that article over the weekend, I realized that the lessons seem more valid today than ever. Thus, I am republishing the piece. It may be found as published here and below.
