What Smells Worse Than a Bushel of Rotting Crabs?

Corruption in Washington is getting as big as a Boeing 747. The Qatari royal family's proposed “gift” of a “flying palace” to the United States and, after the Trump presidency, to Donald Trump’s presidential library prompted me to write about Donald Trump’s continuing schemes to further enrich himself and his family.

The “gift” prompted questions like who thought up the idea of gifting the plane in a manner where Trump himself effectively owns it after he left the White House, and, more importantly, what the Qataris hope to gain by making the gift.

Answers to these questions are likely to come in the coming months as Congressional Democrats and, unexpectedly, some Republicans question the “gift.” They are demanding answers on the details of the deal and will most likely either get them or try to deny Trump his new plane.

Why the title of this piece? We eat a lot of Maryland Blue Crabs here. They are the world’s best but smell like the Trump administration if left unrefrigerated after steaming. Any Marylander who has experienced the stink of rotting Blue Crabs will know what I mean.
