April has been the cruelest month for Donald Trump. His New York Hush Money Trial is not going well. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) ridiculed him by saying, "You don't pay someone $130,000 not to have sex with you." And pictures of Trump having a bad hair day are appearing on the web.

The New York trial is serious business, especially as the Supreme Court heard arguments in United States v. Donald J. Trump, the presidential immunity case. Oral arguments heard on April 25 suggest the Court will remand the case to the lower courts, effectively eliminating the possibility of a trial on the Washington, D.C. federal case brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith charging Trump with conspiracy to defraud the U.S., obstruction and conspiracy to block an official proceeding, and conspiracy against the right to vote by attempts to threaten and intimidate people in their right to vote.

My weekly column in Spy Community Media's Eastern Shore newspapers this week addressed Trump's trial. I now know who David Pecker is and wondered why he didn't change his last name when he became 18. I wonder what Hope Hicks, once so loyal to Trump, will say when she takes the witness…
