Dear Poof

Dear [P]layer [O]ne, [O]taku, [F]igure Collector,

--

We are writing you this letter to let you know that we are alike. We love to play video games as much as our time permits. We watch anime as often as new episodes come out. And we collect figures as much beating our wallets can take. If you’ve read this far, you probably can relate.

We are alike in the way we hold on to our hobbies, or dare I say, our passions, for dear life. We live our daily lives knowing that while we age, we never truly grow old. We refuse to grow up. We are made in portions of what we love most. We consume even more of them to replenish our playful youth.

We are writing this letter to let you know that we are all the same. Not that it’s impossible to find other people like you. We are not alone. Not anymore. People like us, Poofs like us, we are a legion of hundreds of millions. And because of it, we barely hear our own voices anymore.

This is to let you know that out of that ocean of people who plays the same games as you, watches the same anime as you, and/or collects the same figures as you, you have Dear Poof to talk to.

Dear Poof was not created to share news. It’s not created to review products. It’s not about the business. It’s about you and me. It’s about how people like us think and feel. Our daily lives. And how our passions define us.

So write to us. Tell us who you are. If you identify as a Poofer, tell us what you think or what you feel. About anything.

Here, let Envy and Sin start:
