You Can Help Me Get A Car

I have been without a car for almost a year. This has hindered me in many ways such as losing my main source of income and depressing me beyond belief. I live toward the outside of a spread out town with very little public transportation. It has not been easy on me or my boyfriend to say the least.
Our last car, Lola, was our pride and joy. She was a bright green 2010 Ford Escape and we loved her so much. She just didn’t have anymore to give at one point and we had to scrap her, unfortunately. I would have driven her forever if I could. She was our first car and we were so grateful to have her while we did.
Now, we finally have an opportunity to get another car. The only problem is that our income has diminished incredibly within the last year due to lack of transportation. About 95% of both of our incomes go to rent, utilities, and groceries. There hasn’t been much room for us to save anything at all, especially due to a few emergencies we’ve had since then. This new (to us) car is in great condition, fairly low miles, and has passed inspection recently! A family member is selling it to us for a few thousand.
