A Party for Grown Ass Women
We launched Dear Grown Ass Women™ with a fantastic party held on a rainy Sunday evening in Brooklyn at Shell’s Loft, a woman-owned boutique space in the heart of Clinton Hill. Leah of Color Pop Events (and also a Dear Grown Ass Women™ member!) blew our minds with her magic and creativity in the planning of this incredible party.
It was an overwhelming evening filled with 65 gorgeous, badass friends and DGAW™ community members.
We had such incredible partnerships for this event and 90% were women-owned brands & businesses.
The BEST news: In honor of all of the incredible women (over 35) who couldn’t make the party; we’re giving away THREE swag bags for the event; fabulous tote included of course.
As folks walked in, they were greeted by a bar serving up beautiful Pomp & Whimsy cocktails created by bartender extraordinaire, Patricia.
And we also featured Hella Cocktail Co. Bitters and Soda mocktails because finally a delicious yet thoughtful drink for those not wanting to drink alcohol. #Boom #NewFuckingFavorite
Why no one ever throws a badass party for grown ass women, we’ll never know?! So…we did. And we had a gorgeous balloon installation by Always Poppin’, a sophisticated photo booth by Flux Photobooth Company and of course, a Tarot Reader (Hey, Daya, hey!)
We served up gorgeous charcuterie by Little Chef Little Kitchen & we had a nugget bar (yes, a chicken & vegan nugget bar!) by NYC’s own The Nugget Spot. And can we talk about these handmade & hand drawn custom cookies by Cookies For A Cause?! These were the MOST photographed part of our party because….well, I mean, c’mon!
Brooklyn Blooms created the gorgeous Fall floral arrangements for the party and Dotted Design created all of our branding.
All women, all the time ‘round here.
