DECENT is proud to announce some pretty important news! Our largest project to date will be switching over to the DCore platform starting Wednesday, November 14 at 9:00AM GMT! Of course, we’re talking about ALAX — the new blockchain app store for mobile games.
ALAX is a joint venture between DECENT and Dragonfly. Their TGE (Token Generation Event) was held back in April 2018. A unique attribute of ALAX is that the marketplace will be available to everyone, including a global population of more than 2 billion people who have no direct access to banks (according to World Bank’s Global Findex 2014).
The original ALX tokens were hosted on the Ethereum blockchain as ERC20 tokens, but now we are ready to swap them over to the DCore blockchain. One of the great features of DCore is the ability to create custom tokens called User Issued Assets (UIAs). ALX will become the first official UIA to be created on DCore and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
ALAX will use DCore in the transaction layer, taking advantage of its incredible speed (2,000+ TPS), stability and security. With ALAX, mobile game developers will have the opportunity to publish their products and experience all the benefits of DCore, such as instant payouts, time-stamped records, revenue sharing and much more.
