What an exciting weekend for us at DECENT and our partners at ALAX. For those of you who haven’t heard, ALAX, the brand new DCore blockchain-based mobile game marketplace, launched in Vietnam this past Saturday (May 25, 2019), and hosted a huge party to kick it off.
Over 300 blockchain and game enthusiasts, and several prominent speakers traversed the globe to witness the reveal of A L AX to the tech-hungry and gaming-fanatic Vietnamese market. Attendees even got a unique, first-hand look at some of the new games on the ALAX Store and had a chance to play them on a big arcade-style touchscreen gaming system.
And what is a party without party gifts? Some awesome prizes and gifts were given out throughout the night, including a grand prize of the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ mobile phone!
Not only did ALAX unveil their Store application but they also updated the ALAX Pay and ALAX Publisher tools. ALAX Store is a mobile game marketplace for Android mobile users. Users can search or browse through the list of games and purchase directly from game developers.
ALAX Pay acts as a wallet for gamers and is integrated into the store or can be downloaded separately on Google Play. Users can enjoy various means to deposit money into ALAX Pay without credit cards. ALAX Publisher is an application exclusively for partners. It’s used to post and manage all their works that are leveraging the store.
ALAX Regional Manager in Vietnam, Del Elson, shared his thoughts with us: “ With the announcement of ALAX Store in Vietnam, our main goal is to reach potential mobile gamers and developers. We realize that the mobile game market is currently very developed in Vietnam and, at the same time, it also has a skilled gaming community reaching high levels that promise to produce many unique products. “
No doubt that Vietnam is a hotspot for mobile gamers! With ALAX now establishing themselves in the rapidly growing region, we are sure more action-packed announcements are bound to be coming soon.
