Today, we are excited to announce that we are entering the realm of iOS dApps with our official iOS Wallet. This release has been long awaited and requested by our community of devout followers and we are pleased to bring it to you before the end of Q1, perfectly meeting our roadmap target. Without wasting any time, let’s dive right in and explore some features of our new addition to the DECENT wallet family.
The DECENT Official iOS Wallet (available in the Apple App Store) contains the main functions one would expect from a wallet dApp. Sending, receiving and storing DCT is a breeze, and with DCore being one of the fastest blockchains to-date, one can anticipate extremely fast transfer speeds.
If you’ve already created an account on our official Web Wallet, then you’re in luck because all of your account information is easily synced to the new iOS Wallet via the QR code generated in the web wallet. During the setup, you will be prompted to create a PIN to further secure your mobile wallet, and in your settings, you have the option to use that PIN to approve all transactions before they are processed.
Once inside your account, our user-friendly interface allows you to flow through your profile with ease. You can view your account balance in DCT, explore security settings, send and receive DCT, view transfer history, and more. The main menu within your profile also contains external links to our DECENT explorer and miner voting tool so users can follow all transactions on DCore and vote for your favorite miners running our network.

We have plans to add many more features in future updates, such as showing account balance in fiat, support for UIA’s, convenient DCT/UIA transfers via QR code, just to name a few. Our aim is to make this dApp one of the best mobile wallets for all your DCT needs.
