One Simple Toolkit to Create Blockchain Magic
Exciting news coming out of DECENT today. Our highly anticipated DCore SDK (Software Development Kit) has just been released. This instrument for developers will allow easy integration of the API to communicate and build on our DCore blockchain. So if you’re interested in building on a fast, secure, and easy-to-use blockchain platform, this article is for you!
You can think of an SDK as a useful toolkit packed full of software development tools that allow for the creation of applications on a specific development platform. The tools in an SDK are designed to communicate with the intended platform, making for a smooth user experience for building applications.
Our DCore SDK is about as straightforward and simple as it gets. Inside our GitHub repository, you can find detailed documentation and examples of DCore implementation. We’ve added support for Android, Pure Java, and Java Backends. In addition, our Kotlin library’s programming interface is based on Reactive (RX) API. This SDK expands beyond Android-only applications to anything that uses Java or Kotlin, including apps running on servers as well.
The SDK offers numerous unique and unprecedented DCore features where you are able to:
- Create an account
- View account balance and history
- View recent transaction by TXID
- Search account and consumer history of purchases
- Acquire account by ID, name, or public key address
- Make a transfer
- Purchase content by ID or URI
- Search miners by their ID’s
- Vote for miners
- And much more!
For all the developers out there using Apple devices, future implementations of our SDK will support platforms such as OS X and iOS, spreading the usefulness even further. This expansion is expected to be released in Q4, 2018.
