We hope you all had a tremendous week! We had a lot of new things happening in DECENT since last week, so let’s get started. Among other things, we’ve been intensely testing our new wallet, our CEO, Matej Michalko, has a new Medium blog post out, our hackathons have gone intercontinental, and our team got a little bigger.
We Have Tested Our New Wallet
Last week, our brand new DECENT Wallet has been tested extensively by our team. From what we can tell you for now, it works very smoothly and looks just fantastic. We want to make sure it’s perfect and spotless before it goes out, and we want to provide you the best user experience possible. We’ll keep you posted about the release date (coming soon)!

A Double Dose of DCore Hackathons
In the last couple of months, we organized two successful hackathons in Berlin and Bratislava, which resulted in the emergence of two amazing DCore projects. This time, we’ve decided to go fully intercontinental with our Blockchain Pioneers Hackathon series — sponsoring events in China and the USA at the same time. Another New Team Member
Last week, we had two new people stepping through the doors of our Bratislava office. This week Peter Matejík, an Actuarial Gain graduate, experienced analyst and insurance product development specialist, joined our team to strengthen the company’s forces as a new Product Manager. We’re delighted to see you on board, Peter!’
