It’s quickly becoming apparent that blockchain technology is about far more than just Bitcoin. Across finance, healthcare, media, government, and other sectors, innovative uses are appearing every day.

While some may fail to live up to their promises, others could go on to become household names if blockchain proves itself to be as revolutionary as many are predicting.

I’m excited to see all these developments. I am sure not all of these will make it into successful long-term ventures but if they indicate one thing, then it is the vast potential the blockchain technology is offering.

What about recruitment?

According to the LinkedIn Global Recruiting Trends 2017, 34% of recruiters list investment in innovative interviewing tools as a top trend for the near future.

Personnel selection is the area where the blockchain might give a new leap in the development of relations between businesses and people. A unified system of verification of and performance indicators will open new opportunities for recruitment. It will help:

  1. Employees with a perfect reputation to find work faster.
  2. Companies to save time and money by hiring employees.
  3. Quickly assess the competence and professionalism of people.

Blockchain technology is today’s one of the most discussed topics, which has a chance to change the future of businesses. It offers many benefits, for example, transparency of actions. This helps companies to create a rewards program that fit 24/7 performance management and enhances engagement. It also builds the trust of a candidate for the company, because everyone in the system can see the changes. In case of recruitment, according to the 2016 Edelman Trust Barometer, people trust content shared by employees of a company more than that shared by its CEO (55% vs. 49%).

One of the brightest examples of blockchain technology implementation in HR industry is Aworker. It is the platform that helps to find the most suitable company and job position based on your psycho-type, professional skills, and achievements. The catch here is that you have to prove the data you write about by attaching certificates or other verifying documents. It also will help HR managers to reduce time spent on deep interviews, professional skills check and other imprecise data from the resume. So there will be no need for job seekers to wait several months before the final answer.
