All of us pass through hard times and have to take some serious decisions, sometimes decisions that will entirely change our lives. On these moments the pressure is so high that some of us get paralyzed without knowing what to do. Other times the decisions we face are not that critical, but our emotional and psychological response is the same. Than we have a question: what to do when we find ourselves totally lost in a decision?

Chances are you’re feeling like that in this exactly moment about a career decision, maybe a business endeavor, or how to use your last pennies because you have a really very bad financial perspective in this moment, or what to do after your marriage. We all are facing huge problems right now, believe me, I’m too. We pass the majority of our lives trying to dodge adversities without noticing it’s all about our decision making, even to dodge is a decision. Wait…what?

Believe me or not, it’s ll about our decisions. Indeed, even to stay freezed when faced by a huge problem is a decision, so you’re deciding even unconsciously all the time, you just have to be aware of it. You know about one of the hipes of the moment, the mindfulness? Well, it just proves my point: everything is about noticing your own unconscious decisions. In example, many times you put yourself in trouble through your behaviour without noticing. Even when apparently you didn’t do anything to be facing a hard time, you surely could be more prepared for this moment if you had decided to in the first place. It’s all about being aware.

In any given moment in life what we face is also part of decisions we have taken in the past, right? I hope that is crystal clear. But what about the decisions you didn’t made? Well, those are decisions too, you just decided not to do anything. But this doesn’t means it’s bad news, because many times our life is preserved by decisions we take to not do anything about a given aspect of our lives.

Don’t bother yourself generating unnecessary loads of pressure to make a decision about anything, remember that not doing anything is also a decision, so you’re always deciding anyway. Just believe in your path, in yourself and assume the consequences without facing it like the end of the world, because unless you’re Thanos (from Marvel Universe, for those who don’t know) you won’t destroy our entire civilization with your next decision, so take it easy with yourself, because when you’re psychologically and emotionally centered all that blur goes away and the decisions are made clear.
