When was the last time you did something new for the first time?

A few months ago, I tried sushi for the first time. I loved it. For 27 years I thought I hated sushi. And for 27 years I was missing out.

I kissed a girl for the first time when I was 18. I married said girl. At 25, we became parents for the first time.

Four week’s ago, I tried self-employment for the first time.

Experiencing something new for the first time — that first bite of sushi, that first kiss, that first breath of freedom — these moments represent tiny fulcrums we use to elevate our lives.

There is tremendous value in consistency. However, experimentation is the root of progress.

As we get older, we are tempted to believe there remains nothing new in life for us to experience.

A new career, a new friend, a new romance, a new book is closer than you think.

Now is not the time to give up on your curiosity.

There is so much more out there for you to experience.
