Why I create every single day

Do you ever read those sad “last text” stories? The ones like This is the last thing So-and-so texted me before she died.

Or have you ever had a Facebook friend pass away and you can see, right there on their profile, the last thing they ever shared?

Those kind of stories bum me out.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t fear death, but I do fear not leaving behind a small impression on this world.

I create to leave my mark. I create because one day I will create my last thing. I create because it’s how I live.

Creating is my flow. Whether it’s a blog post, a video, a book, a business, or a doodle on the back of a napkin, every creation is like another stepping stone.

And every stone laid, I believe, is one step closer to uncovering this amazing adventure I’m on.

Here’s to another step closer.
