Every WordPress blogger including me can relate to the pain of handling the most robust CMS (Content Management System) in the world.

The frustration amplifies 10 folds if you have zero coding skills.

But fear not, WordPress has you covered in pretty much every facet.

Whatever, the goal, there is always a plugin to decrease your frustration associated with it.

Here is the list that I have compiled of all the WordPress Plugins your WordPress Blog ought to have.

Remember more plugin is never the answer, it can break your website, you wouldn’t want that.

1. Yoast SEO

The name Yoast in the WordPress CMS ecosystem has become somewhat synonymous to Search Engine Optimization.

It is a plugin by Yoast for WordPress, with this plugin you can take care of your on-page SEO efforts. The best bloggers in the world use this plugin to keep their SEO up to date.

It helps you with maintaining your search appearance & content optimization.

If you are a blogger then you simply cannot ignore this plugin, as you write your blog post, this plugin act as a writing assistant tool. You can enter your focus keyphrase & the plugin will auto-suggest you to repeat the focus key phrase throughout the post that is acceptable.

More than that, it will notify you of transition keywords, readability analysis & more.

2. Elementor

This is my personal favorite plugin. Have no coding or web design skills, don’t worry, this plugin has got you covered. This is a front end drag and drop page builder plugin.

With just drag and drop you can design attractive landing pages, they also have a bunch of templates to simplify the process for you. This tool is more than enough for a blogger who wants to do it all alone and cannot afford the hefty prices of web developers.

You can join their Facebook Group & resolve the query in real-time.

3. Wordfence

Wordfence plugin is very important for WordPress websites. It is basically a website security plugin, it prevents the malicious attacks to your website & protects the firewall. You can routinely run scans to detect threats & mitigate the risks your website faces.

4. Google Analytics Dashboard

Google Analytics Dashboard by Exact Metrics is a free plugin for your WordPress website. Using this plugin you get a dashboard on your WordPress dashboard. Google Analytics Dashboard will reflect the overview of the website traffic behavior. You can segregate the flow of data by filtering the data by time & other facets.

It would be tedious to go all the way to analytics.google.com every time you have to take a look at the analytics.

To brush up your Google Analytics Skills, join Google Analytics Academy & become certified.

5. Akismet

This is a comment moderation plugin by WordPress comes with it as soon as you get started with the website.

Essentially this plugin moderates every comment your blog receives. In the industry of Digital Marketing, we understand the phishy activities people do to gain backlinks.

One of those activities is to place irrelevant comments on other’s blog post with their website URL. Which devalues your blog post altogether. Thanks to Akismet plugin, it spams & holds these comments for you to review and publish.
