How to create a WIFI hotspot in an android smartphone

For those of us without home Internet access, we are left to fend for ourselves. We have all these devices that need Internet so what do we do? Good thing is that uncle tech always has some tricks up his sleeve.
You can use your Android smartphone to distribute your cellular Internet connection to your other devices. This is obviously going to be more costly than Internet to the home bills, but if you live in a neighbourhood that doesn’t have home internet services, you just gotta do it.
So how do you go about it?
Go to your phone’s settings
Click on more and select Tethering and portable hotspot

Then select the Portable WIFI hotspot settings and configure WIFI hotspot.

Here you can set your WIFI’s SSID and security.

Once you’re done, get an Internet plan for your phone, turn on your mobile data and hotspot.
Your WIFI hotspot is now functional and can be used for multiple devices.
After you’re done, all you have to do is turn off the hotspot.
