How to do a hard factory reset on an android phone

Doing a reset is usually a last resort thing but sometimes it is necessary. If you’re selling your phone to someone else,
you have to clear all your data, make sure no online accounts are in sync and all that. Doing that one step at a time can become tiring. You can sort out all that with a hard reset.
A hard reset can also be used when you forget your phone’s password. There are better methods where you won’t lose your data but they are complicated. If you don’t know how to do them, this is simpler. So how do you perform this magic?
The recovery mode
Remember when we were talking about the android recovery mode? This is one more way where it turns out to be useful. The Android recovery mode can be reached by holding a combination of the volume keys, the power button, and the home button sometimes. The exact combination differs with different smartphone models.
You can google the exact way to get there with your phone. Once you’re there, you will find the option to perform a factory reset. In most phones, you can use the volume keys to navigate the recovery menu and the power button to select. Select the factory reset option and wait for it to finish.

After the reset is done, reboot your phone and it will be as good as new.
