We are all eagerly looking forward to the new content that is added every month by our favourite streaming channels. Especially after Sacred Games made it big, audiences can’t wait for the next Netflix India original offering.

We are mid way through the monsoons in India and most evenings, you just want to curl up with video-on-demand content and a warm mug of tea, coffee or even hot chocolate!

So here is a list of the new releases that will get you through those rainy weekends.

Netflix India

Like Father

Actress Lauren Miller’s directorial debut, a workaholic daughter (Kristen Bell) is abandoned at the altar and ends up bonding with her workaholic father (Kelsey Grammar).

The Package

A Ben Stiller-produced coming-of-age comedy with a wince-inducing logline: “When a teenager accidentally cuts off his penis during a camping trip, he and his friends rush to save the appendage before it’s too late.” Looks appropriately painful.

Ghoul (Season 1)

Netflix’s first original Indian horror series, Ghoul will be brought to us by Blumhouse Productions, Ivanhoe Pictures and India’s Phantom Films. Blumhouse Productions are the folks who brought us Oscar-nominated Get Out and Phantom Films was established by Anurag Kashyap. The show is scheduled for release on August 23.

With Radhika Apte in the lead, the show sure looks promising.

The Comedy Lineup (Season 2)

The second installment of Netflix’s standup roulette features the talents of Aisling Bea, Emma Willmann, Janelle James, Josh Johnson, JR De Guzman, Kate Willett, Matteo Lane, and Max Silvestri.

Ozark (Season 2)

After barely surviving a stressful move to the Ozarks, Marty (Jason Bateman!) and his family will have to dig in their heels and learn how to run a riverboat casino.

Amazon Prime Video India

While Amazon’s Marvelous Mrs. Maisel might be the most eagerly awaited show, the video streaming website is expected to add a slew of original content series action packed movies, detective series as well as mushy romantic comedies sure to leave you with warm and fuzzy feelings. Below is a list of what you can watch out for:

Fans of John Grisham will certainly remember this Matt Damon starrer which preceded the acclaim the actor received in the Bourne series.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)

Based on the popular toy franchise, this movie is sure to appeal to all those guys who have fond memories of their beloved childhood hero.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Season 1 (Prime Original series)
