Hack.Summit(“Blockchain”) Contest Spotlight: Elastos

Elastos has created a challenge as a part of Hack.Summit(“Blockchain”) — a global, virtual hackathon hosted by Deconet and Hack VC that will take place from July 6th-8th, 2018.

Elastos is a SmartWeb operating system focusing on re-decentralizing the Internet with blockchain to secure identity.

Challenge

Elastos is hosting a non-coding contest to create a detailed design of an Elastos App that ideally leverages digital assets and the Carrier P2P network.

Some examples include:

• Social Platforms with some aspect of digital assets
• Art, Media, Video sharing platforms
• IoT apps that use the Carrier P2P network and machine to machine payments via ELA.Pay
• Voting, Political apps that leverage the Distributed Identity Service (DID) and secure Carrier P2P network

Prizes are as follows:

• Grand Prize — 10,000 USD
• Runner-Up — 5,000 USD
• Honorable Mentions (x5) — 1,000 USD
