Brian Holdsworth, the YouTubing Catholic apologist is a font of infuriating inanities.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. In my perusal of his videos, which has resulted in a series of my replies to him, I’ve been astounded by the consistency with which he blunders. He doesn’t just err here or there in trivial ways but reverses the truth with staggering obtuseness.

Again, though, the egregiousness of his apologetics has a silver lining since with his long, wavy brown hair and beard, Holdsworth happens to look like the stereotypical Jesus. Thus, in watching his videos I can sit back and easily imagine the historical Jesus or some such ancient charismatic prophet spouting equally sophistical howlers. Inadvertently, Holdsworth demonstrates how religion propagates itself.

In any case, his video “Undeniable Proof of God’s Existence” doesn’t disappoint. True, he doesn’t offer there any such proof or even end up claiming he ought to do so, but he maintains his streak of tripping over his feet and falling flat on his face.

Christianity has taken over American culture. As a result, many people have been abused and manipulated by it. The writers of this publication want that to change, so they write articles deconstructing Christianity and all of the harmful beliefs behind it.
