‘’Nepotism’’ A Great Problem In Bureaucracy

In bureaucracy, Bureaucrats should be neutral in their work. But it is very sad that now maximum bureaucrats are related with nepotism. That is a great problem in bureaucracy.
Now I will tell an incident that occurred with my friend . In 2015, we got our SSC result. My two friend failed in exam. They had confidence that they would not fail in exam. So, they challenged the board about their result. After few days one of them passed in the exam from challenge. But another did not get any result. Who passed, his uncle was an officer of this board. His uncle managed everything for him. But who did not get any result, he had no any relative who work there. Again, he could not contact with any officer of that board. Therefore, he did not get any information. Comparing between them, he who did not get any information, is better than other.
So, the incident is related with nepotism. It is clear that if you have any relative in that work, you will get the service. But, if you have not you will not get any service. It is not responsibility of bureaucrats. They will work equally. They should have proficient officer in the work. But there are some broker who are not much educated. They take bribe for any official work. And they are the representative of bureaucrats.
I read the Weberian bureaucracy. There are some characteristics. Among these
• Purposely impersonal
Is notable. That talk about to treat all employees equally and customers equal and not be influenced by individual differences. There will no occur any discrimination. Everyone will get equal service that he deserve. Bureaucrats are not ruler, they are servant of people. They should always ready to give service the people. They will have no biasness. But we can see above the incident our bureaucrats are related with nepotism. Therefore, general people can not get the service or get too later. Even bureaucrats take bribe from general people for their service by the broker.
I don’t know how the problem will be solved.
