Airbus’ Vahana Passenger Drone Take To The Skies For The First Time

The Vahana passenger drone successfully completed its first test flights in Pendleton, Oregon. The flight merely lasted for 53 seconds.

The Vahana team’s goal is to take advantages from the emerging technologies like electric propulsion and machine vision to democratize personal flight.

This drone drifted at 16 feet, and what more exciting and impressive is that we will soon see a whole new industry spring up around us.

The design and body of the drone leaves a pretty solid impression on the viewers. Many companies like Ehang and Volocopter are trying to prove themselves better in regards to sophisticated, high-tech passenger drones.
