Defibrillator-Carrying Drone Could Make A Big Difference In Emergencies

According to a study conducted in Stockholm, Sweden, a defibrillator-carrying drone were found to arrive much faster in case of emergency as compared to the standard ambulances. In the Karolinska Institute’s trial, drones arrived 16 minutes faster than standard ambulance.

It makes sense to use UAV’s in case of emergencies, where quick access to defibrillation or CPR, can essentially be the reason of your survival.

Besides, there are various other factors to be looked on before this technology comes in standard practices. Factors such as- weather condition, air traffic control management systems, and local law of aviations are to be considered.
