Aerones is a Latvia-based company that specialize in building heavy-lifting drones. Aerones, created a drone solution for wind turbine maintenance. A water-spraying Aerones drone will make the wind turbine maintenance a lot easier i.e. power washing and deicing.

Previously the task was done manually which was quite complex and time-consuming, but these drones turn it into a one-person job with a remote control. The uses of the drones goes beyond the wind turbine maintenance, as the company is also looking forward to use drones for fighting fires, rescuing people, skyscraper maintenance and delivering goods.

Approximately the drone can lift up to 441 pounds and fly up to 400 metres high. The high-pressure pump, generator and electric cable helps drone to stay in the air and do the task. Moreover, a single person can operate it and has three parachutes attached for the safety.
