Matternet, a logistic company, declared that there will be numerous networks introduced that will result in medical items deliveries within 30 minutes. This is a huge step that will help to save lives.

With the decrease in travel time, it becomes easy to deliver the medical supplies on time. Matternet, is focusing on transporting small items like blood samples.

According to The Verge, a few hospitals in Lugano, Switzerland have already successfully tested Matternet drone flights with samples being transported.

This drone-based emergency service would prove beneficial to the people in the future. Raptopoulos said, “In case of emergencies, people have to wait for a courier, or taxis, and when you have a system like this that is autonomous and reliable, it completely transforms operations.”
