Project Wing to Test Food Delivery by Drones

Drones will supply food to homes in Tuggeranong as a trial of the technology actions into the outskirts. Project Wing has been testing drones with residents in rural community Royalla, and now it is ready to take a big jump in the technology.

Flying at a hundred and twenty km/h and handing over food items and medicines, Project Wing has signed up more than one hundred users in its early tests.

Project Wing, run through a division of International enterprise Alphabet, began testing in Australia in 2014. Now it desires to discover ways to deliver to smaller backyards as it prepares its technology for towns.
