Reno Fire Department Is All Set To Use Drone Technology

The Reno Fire Department would be using the drone technology on the fire lines. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s), or better called drones, are emerging out wonderfully. They can deliver medical supplies, AD kits and life-saving medications to fire-fighters and paramedics.

Not only this, but UAV’s has thermo-imaging capabilities and can fly at night. “You have drones that can continually fly over a fire situation and give real-time reports on the conditions,” says Chief Dennis Nolan.

Drones are helping the fire departments and can reduce response times by up to 40 percent, saving the lives.

“The true heroes are the guys who do their job effectively and we need to just get them good tools and effective machines that will help them speed up the time to find someone or helping to save somebody’s life,” says Mike Richard, CEO of Drone America.
