Study shows that drones can lessen the burden on the environment. Trucks contribute to about 20% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, and by the replacement of trucks with the drones, the delivery time will improve plus the environment will be safe.

These delivery drones can help reduce emissions. An environmental scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Joshuah Stolaroff states that, “Drones can make a significant impact on emissions, especially now that transport is the biggest polluting sector out there.”

For three years, Stolaroff and his researching team studied about the environmental impact of delivery drone vs. diesel-powered truck.

However, there are certain restrictions and warning signals, but sooner or later, drones will be seen in number of countries serving the deliveries.
