Why Not Combine UAV’S And Self-Driving Vehicles To Assist Each Other?

Currently, self-driving cars by various manufacturers are being tested on roads across the country. But, the question about the safety of the passenger and pedestrian on the road arises here. Box Clever, a design firm came up with the idea, i.e. implementing a drone into the self-driving car.

UAV’s have become an affordable, practical tool that can provide users the benefit of bird’s eye view, than why not combine UAV’s and self-driven cars to assist each other?

Simply this assistance would add a layer of protection to both the passenger and the pedestrian. “It’s almost like satellite imagery around you while you’re moving. The car has a buddy,” said Bret Rector, the founder of Box Clever.

This is only a concept design which the company thought out of the box. And it’s a high time to infuse some of the innovation, creativity in the technology for society’s benefit. On the other hand, UAV’s are constantly coming up with innovative solutions to the problems.
