Will Autonomous Flying Taxi Become A Reality?

An Autonomous flying taxi- Ehang 184 drone flew the passengers’ up to 15 kilometres, with reaching the top speed of 130km/h. The drive makes you feel like you have travelled into the future, as of in a sci-fi movie.

The successful test flights will soon seek new ways to optimise urban transport and mobility. Ride-hailing companies such as Uber, Didi and Alphabet subsidiary Waymo, are testing autonomous driving technology which companies believe will improve safety in roads.

As of now, the electric-powered flying taxi is very less in numbers, but Ehang said it is stable enough to fly in thunderstorms and even typhoon conditions.
