We are proud to announce that our visual search API is now made public. Register on developers.deepomatic.com and enter a world where end-users can search your own catalogue of images by taking a picture of packaged goods, print media, posters, and more!

Our visual search engine matches images precisely, even if their layout slightly differs.

Our technology combines specially-tuned deep learning-based features and our proprietary geometric filtering algorithm to provide the best visual search engine as a service in the world, no less ;-). You can upload your catalogue of images with a few requests to our API, making it searchable in minutes.

The list of use-cases is vast and we can’t wait to see how you will use this technology for your own applications. In order to inspire you, here is how we use visual search at Deepomatic:

  • We help brands engage their users by partnering with them to create interactive advertisement campaigns and by connecting their social media images to their online store.
  • We develop chatbots that can give book/movie/show/beer/wine reviews and additional content given an image taken in a store or from a poster. Depending on the use-case, the bot can also let you purchase the item or tickets for the event.
  • We work with museums to create new digital experiences and develop chatbots that provide information about each artwork when the user sends a picture of it.
  • We help companies detect counterfeit packaging on the web using pixel-wise comparison of the aligned web-crawled packaging with respect to the reference packaging.
  • We help companies with large databases of images to find duplicate images, even if they are cropped, rotated or altered.
Some examples, from left to right: Event Ticketing, Museum Audio Guide, Counterfeit Drugs Packaging Detection.

So if you think we can help you, drop us a line at hey@deepomatic.com or try Deepomatic Search API for free on developers.deepomatic.com.

Developers, you can also check the documentation on api.deepomatic.com. Your feedback is precious as we will keep improving our API to better fit your use-cases. So, check it out and let us know what you think!
