DEF Grand Rapids Drink and Think brought together industry, academia, and government for a collaborative event
Local DEF communities, called Agoras, after the public Greek assembly space where all voices could be heard, routinely host events to gather diverse communities and encourage action in line with our mission of culture change.
Grand Rapids Defense Entrepreneur Forum (DEF) members decided to start 2020 with a pop-up Drink & Think event on January 30, 2020, at the Fab House in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
At the event, attendees had the opportunity to network; listen to the keynote speaker Brad Chedister, the Chief Technology Officer at DEFENSEWERX; participate in a Q&A session and a panel discussion, and attend a post-event dinner at Brewery Vivant.
The Michigan Defense Center and special VIP guests from the Pentagon were also present at the event.
This pop-up Drink & Think was hosted by DEF members Gregg Wildes and Michael Beahon and sponsored by Hutchinson, DornorWorks, NDIA, and Nahsai.
