DeFiSafety has been hard at work (alongside MagicPowered) to prepare for an exciting new website release! As of Monday the 17th of January, all DeFiSafety Process Quality Reviews will be hosted natively on our own website!

The reasons for launching this new website are numerous, but most importantly this will allow us to handle the data that we record much more flexibly. As a user, this means that you’ll be able to see the Process Quality Reviews you know and love in a much cleaner, clearer and more directly comparable way. As you can see, we’re now natively colour coding each of the questions based on score and the answers will only offer the justification provided you click on them.

Here’s a preview of the new site for you:

This allows us to present much more information from our scoring matrices while still retaining a high level overview of how the protocol has scored. However, if you’d like to see more details, you can still expand the question at your leisure. See below for an example of this.

Another exciting new feature of our new website is our new Incident section. If a protocol has ever been subject to an exploit / hack / some other unintended use of code, we will document this for you to see. If a protocol has suffered multiple exploits, then they will all be displayed in a single, convenient location just before the PQR begins. We have implemented this feature in the hope that it might better guide your investment decisions! Each incident will be listed with value lost, date and a reference link for greater elaboration.

Finally, on the back end, DeFiSafety’s API will remain the exact same — you can keep using it exactly as you did before! Our new content production software, Strapi, will help us to write reviews a lot faster with better metrics in a more stable manner than other software might allow for. As a reviewer myself, this can not come soon enough. This will boost the regularity of our reviews and provide for better scheduling as we grow as an organisation.

We’re excited to bring this total overhaul to you as the first step in our plan for the year ahead. This will be shortly followed by a new set of questions in our 0.8 update to process quality reviews — an article will be published soon fully detailing this.

DeFiSafety wishes you all a happy new year!
