DeFiPIE development update March-April 2021
In the past few weeks, the devs at DeFiPie have been working hard on streamlining the dApp. Most of the improvements we’ve made were actually based on your comments, so we hope you’ll enjoy the new tweaks.
- PIE rewards clearly displayed on the pool page
Some of our users were confused by the fact that there was one APY/APR value displayed on the list and another on the pool page. The reason was that the extra PIE reward for adding value to the network was only taken into account on the list page. Now it’s also visible on the pool page, so it’s easier to understand why the borrowing APY is negative, for example.
2. Exchange rate displayed down to the last decimal
Now you can view the exact exchange rate with 18 decimals. This will make it easier for you to double-check that your deposit is growing.
3. Token address and price refresh
We’ve added contract addresses for the underlying token on each pool page, so that you can immediately check which token the pool is for and view detailed info on Etherscan. You can also click on the refresh icon to update the price (this can be handy if there’s a delay with the automatic price updates).
4. All events displayed in History with tx IDs
The transaction history section now features all the events and not just the latest 20 like before. We’ve also added the option to copy the transaction hash and to view the operation directly on Etherscan.
5. Liquidation errors and preventive blocking
We’ve added a tool to process liquidation errors, as well as several preventive blocks to avoid unwanted liquidations. This will diminish the amount of liquidation transactions sent by mistake — and if such a liquidation does occur, the user will get an error message.
6. Improved API
You’ll notice that DeFiPie loads much faster now — test it out and tell us what you think!
