Introducing the deFIRE Team
The first breath of the deFIRE project will soon burst into life with our IDO on the 21st May, 2021, through the OccamRazer platform. As one of the first and only DeFi solutions built for Cardano, deFIRE is forging a new path, one that is necessary to catalyze the native token economy, and eventually the smart contract environment, for the Cardano ecosystem.
deFIRE is proud to be working with some of the most reputable and recognizable names in blockchain. deFIRE is powered by Changelly.com — the leading trading infrastructure provider in blockchain. We also fuse the efforts and expertise of some of the strongest, most experienced, and most accomplished teams on the very frontier of the digital asset revolution.
So, who is actually building deFIRE? While our launch is still over a week away, we won’t make you wait to see some of the names and faces behind our revolutionary project. We are excited to introduce our Association Board and our Strategic Advisors. Without further ado, let’s introduce our members:
The Association Board
Eric Benz, Association President
Eric Benz, CEO of Changelly.com, has over 10 years of experience working in and around Financial Technology. He has delivered innovative SaaS systems for some of today’s biggest institutions for payments, identity, and banking infrastructure. Eric has been in the Blockchain space since 2012 and is involved in a number of blockchain and fintech businesses both as an investor and board director.
Strategic Advisors
Maryam Mahjoub — Marketing Advisor
Maryam will advise on marketing and growth strategy for deFIRE. An ex-marketing lead for the Cardano Foundation and Consensys, Maryam is an award-winning blockchain marketer with several high-profile and impactful campaigns during her diverse career. Maryam brings a wealth of expertise and community insight into our small yet aspiring venture.
Danish Chaudhry — Business Advisor
Danish will serve as the head strategist of business development and exchange relationships for the deFIRE project. An ex-Blackrock portfolio manager with over $150 billion AUM, Danish has had deep business experience in the blockchain space, and now serves as a board member of Bitcoin.com Exchange. Danish brings his deep business network to deFIRE.
Alex Mascioli — Market Strategy Advisor
Alex will serve as deFIRE’s go-to-market strategy advisor and growth catalyst. Founder of TradeTheChain blockchain analytics firm and QuantreQ, Alex is a prominent crypto podcast host and expert in the blockchain industry.
Elliot Hill — Communications & PR Advisor
Elliot will advise deFIRE on PR strategy and help steer our communications. Elliot has led and collaborated on PR, communications, and engagement campaigns for some of the largest and most innovative companies in blockchain, including top-5 protocols by market capitalization, Bitcoin banking apps, Crypto-Valley Foundations and start-ups, and a whole host of other dynamic blockchain projects.
Jakie Eini — Community Advisor
Jakie is deFIRE’s community lead, a prominent crypto influencer with thousands of followers across crypto Twitter and Telegram channels. Jakie will be deFIRE’s voice in the DeFi community, as well as the voice and the soul of this growing industry.
