Deftify Mid-Quarter Update (Q2, 2022)
Crypto markets might be shaky, but things at Deftify are running smoothly. Over the last few months, we’ve made steady progress on all of our products and even opened up some to private and public beta testing.
In this article, we go over our development milestones to date and look ahead to what we can expect for both the rest of Q2 and the rest of the year.
Deftify’s launchpad
Progress on both front- and back-end components of the launchpad have been going well, and we were extremely excited to open it up to public testing in early March. The beta test, which ran for a month, saw our users getting their hands on our flagship product and some tokens, thanks to a 2.5 million $DFTY bug bounty.

As many users noted, the platform itself was quite slow. The server we used to host the platform had restricted bandwidth when the test launched, and we’ve already planned to upgrade our hosting for subsequent tests.
Our development team is on track to address all known bugs by the end of May, and we hope to reopen testing for a second time with a better, faster and more stable launchpad at the end of the month.
Metacurse
Our incubated game Metacurse has progressed quickly, thanks to the onboarding of dedicated artists in addition to Nnadi Wisdom, our game director and lead developer.
The all-new Metacurse landing page is now live at metacurse.gg, with original assets and a glimpse of early-stage gameplay. An alpha version of the game is already undergoing internal testing, and the development cycle of the game means that updates are rolled out weekly — if not more frequently.
Our team is also working on converting our internal development documents into the Metacurse whitepaper. This will hold our vision for the game, as well as more details on the mechanics we think make it so great.
We want to make sure the game is a little more polished before we release it to the public for testing, so keep an eye on our announcements or join our Discord for the latest updates. We’re targeting Q3 for the public release, at which stage you’ll also be able to test the game’s smart contract integrations (i.e. token rewards and staking). We’re aiming to have the mobile .apk available for testing around this time as well.
Market data aggregator
Even though development of Deftify’s market data aggregator was the last to start, progress has been tremendous. The front-end is nearing completion, and the devs are currently implementing TradingView charting libraries.
While development is mainly focused on the launchpad and Metacurse, we still anticipate that a public test for the aggregator will be available by mid June.
Product Hunt listing
We recently listed on Product Hunt — an engaged community of investors and testers looking to find new products and services. We want to make sure as many people as possible see us, so we need your help getting us to the front page!

TGE update
It’s no secret that markets are expressing a lot of uncertainty at the moment. While we truly believe that a great product will ensure a strong token in the long term, we’re also aware that launching a token at this time could expose Deftify and our investors to unnecessary risk. For that reason, we’re holding off on our TGE until later this year.
Delaying the TGE also gives us a chance to make more progress on our products, so that, come launch, $DFTY will have real utility. We’ve watched project after project launch on nothing but promises, only for that decision to come back to bite them when investors are left holding tokens they can’t use for anything. When you can purchase DFTY on public exchanges, you’ll be able to use it right away in our product suites.

Community growth
Our community has been very active, with an average of 900 messages per day on Telegram! Everyone appears to be excited about our product launches, and feedback from our mods suggests that you all can’t wait to get your hands on some more features to test. Partnerships
We’ve announced two exciting partnerships since our last update.
First, we partnered with ERAX to help facilitate our future IDO. ERAX is a multi-chain launchpad and DeFi ecosystem and shares many of the same values as Deftify when it comes to crypto adoption. We’re looking forward to collaborating closely later this year when we settle on a date for our IDO and TGE.
We were also thrilled to announce our partnership with Labor Guild Games (LGG) — a leading Chinese gaming guild. LGG helps their members via game guides and localized translations and delivers upcoming projects with a guaranteed player base at launch. We’re looking forward to working with them to help Metacurse grow at launch, and we can’t wait to get the beta into the hands of LGG’s dedicated members.
Looking forward
We’ve come a long way in the first four months of 2022, but there’s still a long way to go. More tests, more partnerships and more news — these are our goals for the rest of the quarter.
More specifically, in Q2 you can expect:
- Updates to the launchpad testnet
- The public beta for the market data aggregator
- Partnership and investor growth
We’ll also push out more updates to Metacurse and hopefully settle on a date for our TGE.
