Deftify’s Private Launchpad Public Testnet and Bug Bounty 💸

The time has finally arrived — our launchpad is ready for public testing! As one of our core offerings, a faultless launchpad experience is essential when we go live, and this test brings us one step closer to launching our platform.
But we need your help! You can’t test a launchpad without testers, which is why we’re opening a testnet version for everyone to play around in. Stake tokens and participate in sales, all without spending any actual money.
We’re also launching a bug bounty program to encourage our testers to look below the surface. We’ll reward those who find bugs with tokens for their hard work 🚀

How to test the launchpad 🚀
Get test tokens
To help facilitate the test, we’ve deployed our launchpad on the Ropsten testnet. Testnets like Ropsten allow projects to deploy test tokens that work in exactly the same way as regular tokens but don’t cost anything to the user.
To get started with Deftify on Ropsten, you first need to connect to the network.
Open up Metamask and click the network name at the top. It’ll open a dropdown menu.
Select ‘Ropsten Test Network’ from the list.
Next, we need to get some tokens to cover gas. Head to the rETH faucet here.
Copy your wallet address from Metamask and paste it into the faucet. Hit the big button that says ‘Give me Ropsten ETH!’
rETH isn’t the same as regular ETH — it’s effectively worthless, and gas on Ropsten is very low. The 0.3 rETH this faucet dispenses should be more than enough.
The network is quite busy, so the transaction can take a while to process. Go make yourself a cup of tea, do some stretches, and check back in 10 minutes. If it still hasn’t arrived, don’t panic — keep checking and it’ll get there eventually.
Once you’re the proud owner of some rETH, it’s time to get some Deftify tokens. To test the launchpad you’ll need two separate tokens — DFTY and POOL. The process to use both faucets is identical.
Let’s start by getting DFTY. Navigate to the DFTY faucet here.
You’ll need to connect your wallet. Click the button and follow the procedure in Metamask to connect to the faucet.
Once connected, the button on the page should change color. Now you can claim DFTY.
Approve the transaction with the recommended gas and wait for the transaction to complete.
As soon as you’ve approved the transaction, head over to the POOL faucet here.
Follow the exact same procedure as the DFTY tokens to claim POOL.
DFTY and POOL utility
When you’re testing the launchpad, you’ll need to stake DFTY tokens to unlock launchpad tier levels. This is exactly what you’ll need to do in the live version when it deploys.
POOL tokens, instead, are only being used during the testing phase. These are the ‘currency’ tokens you’ll use when ‘investing’ in projects. When the launchpad has its mainnet release, instead of POOL users will use common tokens like USDC and USDT to make these investments instead.
If you’d like to see the token balances in your Metamask wallet, you’ll need to add the tokens manually.

Use the launchpad!
With your tokens in your wallet, head to the launchpad.
Connect your wallet to the app, and you’re ready to go!
There are several things you should try to do to get a feel for the launchpad. We want this experience to be intuitive, so try and complete these tasks without a detailed guide.
- Navigate to the staking page and stake 5,000, 10,000 or 50,000 DFTY.
- Return to the Private Arena and participate in various project pools.
- When the pool closes, claim the project tokens.
If you’ve ever participated in an IDO on any other launchpad, this process should be familiar to you!
Make sure you pay attention to the different pools and what they’re issuing — just like real launches, different projects will have different vesting schedules and token emission plans. There are also three staking tiers, so consider testing all of them.
✨ Even though the website says staking has a 7-day cooldown, you can unstake without penalty within seconds during the test.
✨ Ropsten can be slow at times — the network is working, but sometimes you just need to be patient. Once the launchpad is live on Polygon, transactions should process quickly.
Bug bounty 💸
Finding bugs is important, which is why we’re rewarding those who track them down! There are 2,500,000 DFTY tokens available for the best bug hunters out there — and these are real DFTY tokens, not the testnet ones 😉
The rules are simple:
- The bounty period begins March 3 and runs for 30 days until April 3.
- Bounties will range from 25,000 DFTY to 200,000 DFTY, depending on the severity.
- To report a bug, fill out this webform.
- If two people report the same bug, whoever submitted the report first earns the reward.
- Your reports must be actionable — please be specific about the bug and where you found it.
- A list of all known bugs can be found here.
- Bounties will be paid out 4 weeks after the TGE.
