As we progress through the ongoing beta phase and continue improving on the newly released features to prepare for a public launch, here is a recap of all the latest happenings over the month of January.
Ancient Artifact Quest
It appears the mysterious Ancient Scroll previously discovered in-game has now been revealed to be an ancient blueprint.
Five different parts of an ancient artifact have also begun showing up in-game. While it remains unclear what they may entail, it might just be worthwhile collecting them all!
More information on how the different artifact parts can be pieced together to form a full artifact shall be revealed in time to come.
Community AMA Sessions
It has been a couple of months since our last AMA session, and our CEO Brent Maxwell and Co-Founder Ben Pember dropped by to answer the many questions from the community, as well as sharing great insight on the future plans for the game coming into 2023.

Boosted Drop Event
We had a second round of boosted item drop event following the great feedback received from last month where players had a chance to collect as many loots as possible to build their Tactical Drone.
Did we mention all Capacitator purchases to refill mask energy were free-of-charge throughout the hour as well? Talk about a great opportunity!

The wait is finally over. It is time to take the revolution offline with exclusive DEFY merch!

First In-Person DEFY Event
(December 2022)
We held our very first in-person community event together with YGG Japan last month, where our Operatives based in Tokyo gathered to experience playing DEFY as a group.
We hope to host more of such community events in 2023!
