Testnet Guide — DeGate
DeGate, a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) protocol built on zero-knowledge technology, has released its Testnet, with plans to launch Mainnet in mid-summer this year. DeGate fills a key gap in the market by providing spot order book trading and grid trading within the Ethereum ecosystem, offering an experience similar to centralized exchanges.

Getting Started:
DeGate Testnet is currently on the Rinkeby network. In order to get testnet tokens or test tokens, you will need to head to the faucet to get these tokens.
Note: Testnet tokens = Play money (with no monetary value).
This enables users to interact with DeGate Testnet, performing various transactions in a hands-on manner without incurring financial risk.
Step 1: Connect to Rinkeby Test Network
Switch your network to Rinkeby Test Network on MetaMask. You will be able to see your current balance on the Rinkeby Test Network.
Note: If you do not have a Metamask wallet, you can get it from here.
Note: If you are unable to find “Rinkeby Test Network”, head to “Settings” -> “Advanced” -> “Show test networks” — toggle “ON”
Step 2: Get Rinkeby ETH from the following faucet sites

Each faucet sites have their own respective instructions to get ETH on Rinkeby. Follow the instructions and get ETH into your Metamask wallet (Rinkeby), do note there are various faucet limits on how many ETH each user can receive on a given day.
Step 3: Get ready for DeGate Testnet
Once successful, you will be able to see the ETH on your Metamask (Rinkeby)
Step 4: Register for a DeGate account
Head to testnet.degate.com and register for a free decentralized DeGate account to start your testnet journey.
Note: With your free dencentralized DeGate account, you will maintain full custody of all your assets whilst executing transactions on DeGate trading protocol. It only takes a few seconds to create your free decentralized DeGate account.
Deposit your ETH into your decentralized DeGate account and start testing away!
UPDATE 25th MAR: Get 200 USDC AND 200 USDT test tokens instantly on your first deposit on Rinkeby
In order to make DeGate testnet a more seamless experience for users, we have decided to send 200 USDC AND 200 USDT test tokens upon their first deposit.
