Hello Robinos friends

Today we’re excited to announce that Versus events on the Robinos platform will now accept $USDM as the primary method of prediction!

Since the Multichain issues earlier this year we’ve retreated to the safety of $RBN — because we’re in control of it and not reliant on sketchy Chinese operated bridges. But since then DeFi on TelosEVM has reignited and there are some great projects and platforms building, so we wanted to do our part in support.

$USDM is a collateralized stablecoin backed by stakers and launched by Meridian, a non-custodial, decentralised financial trading platform operating on TelosEVM. That’s a lot of words that simply means $USDM is a stable coin pegged to $USD.

Having predictions in $USDM will give participants more certainty of how much they are putting in and offering stability in pool value.

Even better news is this:

The Meridian team are going to put 2,000 $USDM across the Versus events to celebrate and as an incentive for everyone to get involved 😳

There are two ways that you can get your hands on some $USDM:

  1. Buy it on Swapsicle! You can swap $TLOS or any other coin for $USDM on Swapcisle just like you would any other coin.
  2. Open a trove on Meridian and borrow $USDM against your deposited $TLOS. To learn more, click here to read the Meridian docs and find out how to do it.

As always there is no minimum participation for the Versus events on Robinos, but keep in mind that the potential returns (or “ROI”) will fluctuate right up to when sales close.

All of the current Versus events available for prediction can be found here (and we regularly update with more): robinos.finance/events/versus

$RBN will still be used for our Tokenized prediction events, and we’ve got one available for you to jump into right now — and more to follow soon. You’ll definitely want to get involved in the Tokenized events (#alpha 👀)

Feel free to jump into the Robinos Telegram or Discord if you have questions about getting involved.

And please join Meridian’s community to learn more about the project and to show your support! Links below.

Please also come and hear from Meridian founder TJ on this week’s “Shit Beer Power Hour” space on X. TJ will chat to Denis about Meridian and how people can get involved.

Good luck!
