New Feature Announcement: Genetic Analysis Available in DeBio Network
Anonymous genetic data analysis is now possible in DeBio Network!
Your genetic data is unique, and in fact, it may be one of the essential data you have. Genetic testing is very effective in finding underlying hereditary diseases and proactively assessing them. Scientists could not sequence your whole DNA a few years ago, but recent technological developments have proven otherwise.
Now, scientists can sequence whole DNA genes from end to end.
DeBio Network’s release came with the initial genetic testing feature. You can perform a genetic test from the comfort of your home. DeBio Network also has a request for a service feature. Request service is when customers stake their $DBIO to request a feature from their local labs. It helps labs discover new features that they can add to their repertoire of services.
New Feature Announcement: Genetic Analysis
To keep up with the technological advancements, DeBio Network will release a new feature: genetic analysis.
Customers who have already performed genetic testing can upload their genetic data to DeBio Network. The genetic data will not be used for other purposes and will be securely encrypted using the genetic analyst’s public key. After uploading your genetic data, you can request a genetic analysis from one of the onboarded genetic analysts available on DeBio Network.
After requesting a genetic analysis, customers pay the service fee using $DBIO, and DeBio Network will hold it in an escrow smart contract. If the customer cancels the request, DeBio Network will return the service fee to the customer’s wallet.
However, if the genetic analyst responds to the request, the genetic analysis will enter the next stage. After processing the genetic data, the genetic analyst will upload the encrypted data using the customer’s public key. Then, DeBio Network will transfer the service fee in the escrow smart contract to the genetic analyst’s wallet.

Important note: Customers will retain their anonymity when performing genetic analysis. DeBio Network will not give a customer’s personal data to the genetic analyst.
Calling for Genetic Analysts to Onboard!
Currently, DeBio Network has already onboarded a few genetic analysts manually. But we are actively looking for more around the world. If you are a genetic analyst interested in performing genetic analysis, register yourself on our site.
Each analyst will need to provide a comprehensive background profile during the registration phase. The data then will be forwarded to DeBio Network’s Bioinformatics Advisors for review. If the analyst passes the background check, the advisors will verify them.
Before a genetic analyst can perform genetic analysis, they need to stake 50,000 $DBIO (the price might change in the future). The stake will act as a reputational guarantee for them.
